Fed ready for Djokovic showdown ‎

Roger Federer

Roger Federer is curious to find out how he fares against world number one Novak Djokovic at the ATP World Tour Finals.

The Swiss maestro was speaking after opening his campaign in London with a fine 6-4 6-2 victory over Tomas Berdych, having earlier seen Djokovic stretch his winning run to 23 matches with a 6-1 6-1 thrashing of Kei Nishikori.
And Federer believes that he has the game to try and worry Djokovic, as the two men prepare to meet on Tuesday for the 43rd time, with their head-to-head record locked at 21 wins apiece. "I don't think I'm that far off," a buoyant Federer told reporters.
"Then again, let's speak in two days. "Two days is not the match that I care the most about, to be quite honest. It's an important match, very important, but it's not the match.
"It's going to be interesting to see how I play that one. I'm curious to find out myself."
Djokovic, who has won his last 23 matches, is 3/1 with bet365 to defeat Federer in three sets on Tuesday.
